The end of the flat is nigh
The other week we saw our very first flat in the new attempt to find a new place (too many 'new' there I know, but I can't be bothered to change it). The first place we saw we decided 'Yep, that's where we're gonna live'. The next day we put our deposit dooda down and we're moving in sometime between July 1st and July 7th. We need to organise details more, but of course this means one thing, HOUSE COOLING PARTY!!!
Okay, so I'm fairly sure I've just made that phrase up, but if you have a housewarming when you move in, logic dictates.....exactly. I need to figure out when though. I'm thinking either Friday 29th June or Saturday 30th June. It can't be the next week 'cos we need to have moved by the next day.
So, please all do come and say goodbye to the flat (of course I can't use the official name given by the people at work after the first party, although I do love that name). It'll be your last chance (unless of course we grow so homesick and move back in and damn the expense).
I'll let you know about an exact date as and when I have it, but any input would be appreciated.

The DJ agrees that you should come work with us. The elven warrior has asked me to reffer her and im sure i saw a very farmiliar bald-headed baxter the other day.
Seriously Mac, the votes have been cast and the verdict is that you are gonna come apply to work where we work. You will enjoy it more and you will finally feel liberated from that hellish place.

The new flat's near the top of Simonside Terrace, so not far at all. It's three bedroom, but they're giving us it cheaper 'cos there's two of us. There's no TV (boo), so we'll have to buy our own (unless Mumble's still works). It's a little smaller, but slightly fancier.
You seem to be quite poo at this saving monthly thing in fact. How many times have you tried now? You're too easily distracted by anime and Pokemon :P
Damn you're mighty fine logic, damn my bullheadedness too. Equally so in fact. It's very tempting, but too damn far. And would I feel liberated, or just smothered by another corporation?
And of course you realise, if I did join that company, I'd have to go through the same old heart rendering crap again where I'll have to delete everything with the word orangutan (with 'utan' replaced by 'e') in.

Alot of this may be true....and there also may be words to delete.....however it is much easier to fit this word in than the last without it being noticed so much. plus there are other things you can call it too but thats another story ;)
Admittedly it is yet another corperation...however it is undoubtedly a better corperation than the one you are still stuck with and repeatedly voice your unhappiness to that fact.
Maybe all you need is a change.....a move to somewhere better established and run to a degree where you can actually achieve what you try to and actually help people when they need you too..... its crazy after working there....but here theres a department for almost anything...so even if you cant help someone there will be someone who can.
Plus in my department we actually have specific sections that we deal with ....so we dont have to try to deal with anything that comes through despite lack of training lol.... but we are still driven by targets, only thing is i actually feel like i want to do well and hit those targets. Tis a very different atmosphere.... alot more professional yet still as welcoming and friendly as before....i think i know you well enough to say that you would enjoy it here. And considering there are already people from your neck of the woods working here i hardly think you can use the distance as an argument.
I know that you dont want to leave everyone at the lovely hell-hole, but you arent happy there and tbh after all you have tried to achieve there and been knocked back i think you are only torturing yourself by continually giving that place more chances and refusing to escape. In the end it is your choice, but seriously Mac....a change can be a very good thing :P
Plus the elven warrior is gonna try to come here too.....so once again...distance? ...no argument. ^_^

But maybe I am torturing myself. I don't particularly like myself, so it does make sense. Maybe I'm just a fool. Actually, I probably am. I'm probably just too pig headed to change my life.
